(CMR) Medical student Ghassan Jibawi and his colleague were able to leave the Cayman Islands today to return to the United States after their school shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He had previously booked 12 tickets that were all canceled. His attempts to get out were finally realized today when he took advantage of one of the outward bound flights arranged by the emergency travel hotline and Cayman Airways.
Jibawi was kind enough to share his experiences exclusively with CMR today, Friday, April 17, on how the Owen Roberts International Airport was organized.
We hope to have him join us Monday morning on The Cold Hard Truth.
